OHS Lady Indians Put on Defensive Showcase in Fall Play Day Performance

Huntsville, TN - The OHS Lady Indians put on a masterclass performance during Saturday’s Fall Play-Day scrimmages, finishing the event undefeated while completely shutting out every opponent faced.

Game 1 vs. Scott High (0-0 Draw)

The Lady Indians kicked off the play-day with a disciplined, hard-fought defensive battle. Blaklee Culver held firm in goal to record the team's first shutout of the day while the coaching staff utilized heavy substitution to work through key line-up rotations.

Game 2 vs. Fulton (5-0 Win)

OHS exploded offensively in a dominant performance against Fulton. Addison Cross opened the scoring burst, followed quickly by Aleigh Harness. Ava Kate Billingsley then delivered back-to-back goals before RaeLynne Blevins capped off a 5-goal onslaught en route to the victory.

Game 3 vs. Monterey (2-0 Win)

Demonstrating impressive versatility, Addison Cross started in goal while also driving the offense with a goal at the 10:30 mark. Raelynne Blevins doubled the lead shortly after at 14:56 with a goal of her own. The Lady Indians maintained complete control, allowing wholesale bench substitutions in the second half to seal the 2-0 victory.

Game 4 vs. York (3-0 Win)

The Lady Indians closed out the day in commanding fashion. Adysan Douglas broke the tie at 17:14, and Keira Young took over late, netting a second-half brace and another to put the game out of reach. Blaklee Culver turned away 2 shots on goal to preserve the team's fourth consecutive clean sheet.

The Lady Indians looked great for their first on-field action of the season, netting a total of 10 goals between six scorers with a defense that stood their ground throughout the day. OHS will now turn their attention to their next preseason scrimmage on August 11th as they take host York Institute at 7 pm.
